Back in the UK for the first time since 2021, the astoundingly lovely Finnish ensemble Emma Salokoski Voices join forces with A Fistful of Spookies for this special double bill.

Emma Salokoski Voices (Finland)

Emma Salokoski Voices is a vocal ensemble, choir and collective that makes music with curiosity and passion. They released their first album “Juhlien jälkeen” (After the Party) in 2024. The material consists of songs composed especially for ESV in Finnish, Swedish and English.

The artistic leader, Emma Salokoski, is an award-winning and well-known Finnish vocalist, composer and musical chameleon who has toured actively for twenty years and released ten albums with different jazz and pop groups.

On the 2026 English tour, Emma Salokoski Voices will present a combination of harrowing horror stories based on traditional Finnish poems, a few interesting pop songs in English, some compositions by the choristers themselves, and a few songs from their album “Juhlien jälkeen” (After the Party).

Guaranteed to woo, charm, cheer and delight, A Fistful of Spookies is compromised of singers who have all toured with festival hits The Spooky Men’s Chorale, delivering their take on the complete Spooky canon of achingly beautiful and wonderfully daft songs. For newcomers to the Spooky phenomenon, they have redefined the whole notion of male singing, from anthems extolling the virtues of power tools to the joys of doing nothing (at all), alongside award-winning and unforgettably unique covers of Abba, Bowie, Prince, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Queen.
